BEDA: August 11

I have come to the unexciting conclusion that I am a very privileged girl. I am a very privileged girl to whom shitty things happen.

Get good, scholarship-earning grades >>> break two phones, lose graphing calculator, have computer die 8 months before anticipated end of useful life
Organize highly successful charity event >>> get turned down for second term
Move to San Francisco >>> car mirror smashed
Get paid >>> lose debit card
Get job offer for when I graduate >>> car gets towed

I know this is all very “first world problem” of me, but sometimes I feel like this can’t all be unlucky coincidence. As my achievements become increasingly grand, so do their corresponding [bad things].

Please never let me win the lottery.
